Progressive Development — Book Series

A long-term writing and research initiative exploring the systemic, organizational and cognitive consequences of modern software development practices.

The series focuses on how modern engineering ecosystems increasingly optimize for speed, automation and continuous delivery, while gradually introducing new forms of operational fragility, cognitive overload and organizational instability.

Rather than approaching software development purely as a technical discipline, Progressive Development examines software systems as socio-technical environments shaped by human reasoning, market pressure, organizational behavior and automation economics.
